I have known Bruce for a long time and he tends to be rather reasonable--as long as you don't expect him to do something that just doesn't fit. Now that I have been outside the US for over a year I feel I have a better grip on reality. That is, it appears that in most of the world, having the right answer has a lot more weight than in the US. While marketing dollars determine "what is right" in the US, I see managers here, for example, a lot more interested in seeing a solution.
