Very true.  Mega-corps tend to have various attributes which are quite
hostile to the open source model.  To name a couple such - aggressive
intellectual property policy, large paranoiac legal staffs worried about
due diligence and the maximum dollar, security through obscurity, trade
secrets run amok, patent gluttony...   I better stop before I slip into
full blown rant mode.
