Are you missing a hub on your slave ? You'll need one for anything that's listening IIRC. [ I'm the resident xPL user, which works in a very similar way. I've been using an external hub also, just 'cos that's how I started, but the internal MH one works too. My MH instance is all built abound xPL, I even extended the Squeezebox server plugin recently to add some more metadata ].
