Yes, Tasmota is very extensible, which is both good and bad. It means
predicting the flavor of Tasmota thing that can be built is impossible
(a bit like trying to code a Lego_Item!). I have only written basic
POWER1 control (on/off) for now in the MH module. However, I now have an
iFan03 so I added a Tasmota_HTTP::Fan item to my development version
too. Once I have it installed and tested I will commit that update.
Adding other capabilities is generally pretty easy -- mostly cut and
paste something existing and update the hashes of MH->Tasmota state (and
vice-versa) conversions and set a new $self->{output_name}. Given that
it is as easy as it is to add new stuff in the perl module, I think that
is the best way to handle "new things" going forward. If anyone wants
some guidance on how to do that just post the question here, I will do
my best to answer.
In the near term I will consider adding the ability to set which power
output a Tasmota_HTTP::Switch will control so that multiple outputs can
be handled.
