MH runs fine on an RPi.  Nothing special you'd need to do to install it 
above what you would do on Ubuntu.

There are guides on reducing traffic to the SD card, regarding logging, 
temp space, swap, etc.  I've never had an SD card wear out, but that may 
be because I never use them for long. I use other approaches for my 
RPi's storage:
1) On some, I run from a USB attached hard drive. I think the RPis are 
already set to look to USB storage if they can't find an SD card, so the 
process is to install your base system on the SD card, partition and 
format the USB hard drive, copy the SD card partitions to the hard 
drive, shutdown and remove the SD card, and boot up. Hopefully it comes 
up, and if not, just put the SD card back in and figure out what went 
wrong. It's pretty easy.
2) On others, I use network booting from some other system on my network 
that has hard drives. That's a more involved process, but a good project 
if you have the time.

In general, but particularly in the option #2 above, I highly recommend 
installing zram to improve swap space utilization. The only exception 
being that there's currently a bug in zram that only appears on RPi 4s 
that have 8G of ram. So in that situation, hold off until they get the 
bug fixed.
