Hi Brian,

I did absolutely nothing to reduce the writes to the SD.

 I can’t tell what the failure is, I perhaps what I see is the normal “worn out” behaviour. I can say that the last time it died it did so the same way. (Losing recent file charges)
I had updated my password a few days ago, and after rebooting it wouldn’t take my new password; it had reverted. 

I think the noatime change might be worthwhile, also slowing the logging interval. 

I’m willing to change the SD a few years. My config is saved with git.
