I still have many X10 devices operating 
throughout my property and can also attest to JV 
Digital Engineering's XTB solution as I purchased 
the XTB-523 kit back in 2012 and have had no X10 
signal issues since then!  I installed it at my 
electrical panel and it just keeps chugging away - best solution yet!
