[mh] Insteon Setup - Local properties

I am reading this item in the wiki

I am a bit unclear how to implement a Voice command to handle these
directives.

Obviously, the objects that will be used in directives such as

$some_light->update_local_properties(); (from the wiki)

need to have been defined before values are assigned, such as

$some_light->local_onlevel('50%');

Does someone have an implementation example they can share?
