I’m looking to retire my ancient Linux 2.6 VM, which I only keep around for festival 1.95 and the jmk multisyn voice. Try as I might over the past few weeks, I’ve been unable to get multisyn working on festival 2.5, I get a unbounded error below. I’ve got the HTS jmk voice working, but it’s a little flat compared to the 20 year old multisyn voice that has the ‘misterhouse personality’. Family consensus is that the old voice (multisyn cstr_us_jmk_arctic_multisyn) is better than the new one (HTS cmu_us_jmk_cg)

If anyone has a working multisyn setup on a more modern version of linux (currently run a near end-of-life Ubuntu 18.04) would appreciate any pointers or advice!
