Thomas,

The exception comes from the Quest reasoner saying that it does not 
support the xsd:unsignedShort datatype. There is probably a data type 
property with this range in your ontology and the reasoner does not 
support it. One workaround would be a change the range of that property.

I suggest to contact the ontop people, and ask for further guidance:
