Hello team,

I need following informations regarding /dev/log msgs

1. Is the format of the /dev/log msg is fixed for Solaris8 ??
    Ex: Jul 9 10:13:06 u5 pseudo: [ID 129642 kern.info] pseudo-device:
tod0 
2. What are the different scenarios where these format can vary and what
are the possible vaiations

I would aprreciate if above can be answered soon with brief description
