socklog-klog without /proc/klog?

The linux system that I'm using doesn't have /proc/klog.

Is there any way to configure socklog-klog to work without that
pseudo-file?

This is my kernel version:  2.4.20-021stab028.19.777-enterprise

Unfortunately, it's not possible to upgrade my OS.
