Syslog solaris 2.5, 2.6

Hi,

this is my first post to this list.
Can anyone tell me if in Solaris 2.5/ 2.6 the syslog logs any message whe
its started or restarted ?
For exemple, in red hat I think the syslogd: restart means that the syslog
file was rotate and restarted
