The check is fine, only the error (expected) message differs, see
 $ diff -u compile/socklog-check.dist compile/socklog-check.local

To workaround copy compile/socklog-check.local to
src/socklog-check.dist, and run package/install again.

Or simply skip the selftests completely and run package/compile &&
packae/upgrade instead of package/install.

I'll fix it with an upcoming version.
