error "unable to write pipe"

Hello,
I have a fresh tinydyndns installed on a server and I am not able to
get it working. Connecting to it gives,

user foo
+OK
pass foo
-ERR unable to write pipe

svstat shows the services as well as logging is up and working. I am
unable to figure out the reason for this error at all.

Can someone deduce anything from this? Or maybe tell what more
information I need to give.
