That looks pretty interesting.

How would you use it to read (and conditionally process) fd1
within a program (wrapper) that also reads fd0 and does a
conditional exec with a fd0 and fd1 hand-off to a secondary
program (qmail-queue)?

(I've been thinking about modifying my spam filter
http://galis.org/script/prequeue to purge envelope from:, adjust
header, and queue incoming spam -- that way users can get and
filter spam that was rejected in smtp, while messages with bogus
envelope to: get dropped because they have no envelope from:.)
