Thanks for your long mail.
I had a short glimpse at these issues already, having had to debug pptp,
pppoe, diald and pppd playing together nicely on an embedded system.
As i've written in an earlier mail, dropbear and openssh do not work
on this platform at all. (Since i don't have fork)
For example, utmp handling, ncurses or terminal resizing can be ignored
- you really don't need these on a 8-MB-Flash, 16-MB-RAM system.
Same goes for portability: as long as it runs on this embedded linux
system i'm fine. I'll prefer bigger&better applications on systems that
can handle them...
Well, i had hoped that someone had written such an interface already.
