Hi! I like Workrave and use it - not only for RSI prevention but to prevent eye strain as well. Works perfectly, better than any other free alternatives, However, being a gamer, sometimes I am tempted to just right click Workrave icon in notification area and quit thus avoiding break completely, which I regret later. I have tried to set Workrave in a way so that it would give no notification prior to break and just block everything when it is time. It worked well until I found out some single player games do not pause when put into background and a lot of game progress may be lost which is not fun at all. Currently I use workrave in a way that it does not allow to skip breaks completely but gives an option to "postpone" for a minute so I can at least pause game. But then - there is a temptation to postpone break, quit workrave and continue playing. I would like to request a "hardcore" mode which would require some good efforts to quit Workrave. Maybe remove "Quit" option from right-click menu or give option to remove Workrave icon from notification area completely. Maybe run a system service which would detect attempts to quit Workrave few seconds before break or during postponement and re-start it. Basically, allow some time for user to "cool down" and get brains kicked in. Maybe something similar is already implemented and I am just not aware of it. I use Windows version of Workrave.
