problem with program

workrave used to be fine before
then for some reason
the prefrences and the time left part was not show on my desktop
when I started it up again
all I got was all of a sudden (bam !) after around 3 minutes the 
workrave showed up on desktop and it was time for my 2 minuter break , 
no time left warning on desktop
Just take my 2 minute break and then choose if skip or postpone
What can I do to get the full program - Prefrences and time left till 
break little app on my desktop . How can I fix it so its right ?
