how to get into other than normal mode?

Hello,

I have Workrave 1.8.4 on Windows XP SP2. When I right-click Workrave
in systray and chooose "Mode" - "Quiet", the normal mode stays
selected (and the timers are going on). Is this an issue?
Or does anyone know any workaround or hack? ;-)
