Disappearing reminder box!

Hello,

I began using Workrave on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04 two days ago.  It's
great--except the pop-up reminder boxes don't always appear.  There
does not seem to be a pattern.  The countdown timer in the taskbar
continues to count and turns an angry orange if I go passed the
alloted work time without a microbreak or rest break, but I don't get
the box that says "Micro-break" with a countdown, nor do I get the
"Rest break" reminder box with a countdown.  If I exit from the
program, the pop-ups will come back for the first few microbreaks,
then stop appearing.  I really like the pop-ups as they work better
for me than continuously checking the countdown timer.  Has anyone had
similar problems?

My preferences are the following:
Micro-break:
Checked: prompt before breaking, maximum number of prompts (set to
100), suspend timer when inactive
Unchecked: Show 'Postpone' and 'Skip' Button

Rest Break:
Checked: prompt before breaking, maximum number of prompts (set to
100), suspend timer when inactive
Unchecked: Show 'Postpone' and 'Skip' Button

Daily Limit:
Checked: Enable timer, prompt before breaking, maximum number of
prompts (set to 100), suspend timer when inactive
Unchecked: Show 'Postpone' and 'Skip' Button, Regard micro-breaks as activity
