I agree with the original poster, and the filer of bug #416. I have added comments to bug 416 and voted for it. I don't think the user interface would be any more difficult if enabling the postpone and skip buttons was on a per-button basis. It is just as difficult an interface to have a single choice for both buttons. The main problem is the user does not have enough information to know which choice to make. The main difficulty with this part of the user interface is the lack of help text explaining how the skip and postpone buttons work in practice. I also think the effectiveness of the postponement option would be greater if postponement got steadily more difficult each time it was used.
