I should remove the debian stuff. It obsolete. It created those files when 
Workrave wasn't an offcial debiab package.

0.60 is probably too old...

The gtkmm documentation say that a function used by Workrave requires 2.10

You could remove all code that used the status icon... It's quite isolated.
