Here is what I was able to capture (actually I have the whole session from beginning until it crashes). From what I can tell, at some point the client starts sending a lot of packets with 0 size window which eventually makes the server die and the connection gets reset... I was not able to see (yet) why the client started sending zero-size window though... (IPs are masked as they are not really relevant) 3746.744354 x.x.x.248 -> x.x.x.24 TCP 27273 > 3514 [PSH, ACK] Seq=73965 Ack=5854 Win=32160 Len=50 3746.878504 x.x.x.24 -> x.x.x.248 TCP 3514 > 27273 [ACK] Seq=5854 Ack=74015 Win=182 Len=0 3746.878552 x.x.x.248 -> x.x.x.24 TCP 27273 > 3514 [PSH, ACK] Seq=74015 Ack=5854 Win=32160 Len=182 3747.079669 x.x.x.24 -> x.x.x.248 TCP [TCP ZeroWindow] 3514 > 27273 [ACK] Seq=5854 Ack=74197 Win=0 Len=0 3748.141102 x.x.x.248 -> x.x.x.24 TCP [TCP Keep-Alive] 27273 > 3514 [ACK] Seq=74196 Ack=5854 Win=32160 Len=0 3748.141376 x.x.x.24 -> x.x.x.248 TCP [TCP ZeroWindow] 3514 > 27273 [ACK] Seq=5854 Ack=74197 Win=0 Len=0 3748.941098 x.x.x.248 -> x.x.x.24 TCP [TCP Keep-Alive] 27273 > 3514 [ACK] Seq=74196 Ack=5854 Win=32160 Len=0 3748.941315 x.x.x.24 -> x.x.x.248 TCP [TCP ZeroWindow] 3514 > 27273 [ACK] Seq=5854 Ack=74197 Win=0 Len=0 ... 7441.879854 x.x.x.248 -> x.x.x.24 TCP [TCP Keep-Alive] 27273 > 3514 [ACK] Seq=74196 Ack=5854 Win=32160 Len=0 7441.880083 x.x.x.24 -> x.x.x.248 TCP [TCP ZeroWindow] 3514 > 27273 [ACK] Seq=5854 Ack=74197 Win=0 Len=0 7482.824497 x.x.x.24 -> x.x.x.248 TCP [TCP ZeroWindow] 3514 > 27273 [PSH, ACK] Seq=5854 Ack=74197 Win=0 Len=50 7482.824536 x.x.x.248 -> x.x.x.24 TCP 27273 > 3514 [RST] Seq=74197 Win=0 Len=0 At that point both client (x.x.x.24) and server (x.x.x.248) died!
