This feature can be turned off in 1.9.4 (Preferences/Timers/Restbreak/Start 
natural break when screen is locked).

You should be able to skip/postpone the natural break; even if you disabled 
the skip/postpone buttons (In 1.9.3 the skip/postone buttons where also 
disabled in the natural break, this bug has been fixed in 1.9.4)

Some people requested this feature because they often spoil their natural 
break because they resume working too early.
