Hi there! I start Workrave when I log in to the Unity shell (Ubuntu 11.10) and X seems to frequently crash the first time a Workrave dialogue is supposed to appear. I've checked the logs and I can't see anything obvious in the usual places. The only experiment I could do is to stop using Workrave and instead use xwrits, which is *not* really a suitable alternative because it doesn't distinguish between long breaks and short breaks, among other issues. X hasn't crashed once since then. I noticed this also happened in 11.04, although much less often. I'd like to be able to better diagnose the issue. What is the best way to do this? I assume I will need to build my own copy but how do I procede after that? Thanks for all your help!
