Hello all, Searching the archives, I failed to find a thread such as these: An archive or poll on the common between-break times and break times, preferably with scientific backing :) If there is already one, I apologize an kindly ask you to point me to it ^_^ I'll start: - My physiotherapist friend (working in a work-gymnastics company) suggested that for "daily, intense, continuous labor at the PC, combined with bad postures, you should break for 10 minutes after 60 minutes, with 5 minutes stretching and 5 minutes rest" - And in wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_vision_syndrome , they suggest the 20-20-20 rule "After 20 minutes at the PC, stop and look at an object 20ft away, for 20 seconds" So my set times are - Micro-Breaks of 20 seconds, after 20 minutes - Rest-Breaks of 10 minutes, after 60 minutes Cheers!
