You'll have to change the location of the historystats file at least. To get the directory for the historystats file the function Util::get_home_directory() is called. That happens around three places in Statistics.cc X:\Workrave\workrave\backend\src\Statistics.cc(143): string histfile = Util::get_home_directory() + "historystats"; X:\Workrave\workrave\backend\src\Statistics.cc(218): ss << "historystats" << ends; X:\Workrave\workrave\backend\src\Statistics.cc(394): ss << "historystats" << ends; you can see it at 143, and at 217 you'll see a call, at 393 you'll see a call Changing the historystats file location does not change the location of the current day's statistics (todaystats). For that search for todaystats like above. I don't know how it is with the home directory on a network share, I don't recall having tested that. If there is latency on the share it could possibly cause hiccups in the program. You'd have to make sure the share location is always available or write in a fallback. Maybe you'd just be better off adding to a script to copy the files over to your server. Also as I said on the mailing list yesterday regarding Workrave scripts please consider making them open source and if possible free software as a contribution to the project.
