Re: sound

There is.
Right click on the sheep and select preferences. On the left is the icon for user interface.  Select that and look on the right in the sounds tab.  You can adjust the volume for sounds in there and select the sounds to play (or no sounds).
I have my sounds turned off because it turns out that people in adjoining offices don’t need to hear my break sounds!
