Yes. Tabs are only useful for one level of information. We have several (eg messages within a folder within SMS). I could even imagine doing things like making Outlook and its folders part of the tree so you can just drag and drop Outlook entries around. What I would like first however is to mock this up a little more first and maybe get a professional user interaction designer to mull it over since they may be able to come up with something even better. Tree displays make sense to the logical organised mind of a programmer but aren't necessarily the most usable thing for a user.
