I'll check it out tonight. I started trying to understand the amsregistry file format for myself because I would like to eventually add writing media to the A620 (and similar Sprint Samsung phones). I know that one can delete the amsregistry file and power cycle the phone, but I would like to evaluate if it is better to rewrite the file rather than delete it. (If one uses a charging data cable, the phone doesn't turn back on after a power cycle request, it just goes into charging mode, so I would like to avoid reboots.) Anyway, any thoughts/code you have would be most welcome.
