In this case the terminology is 'module'.  (A single file is a module
and can contain any number of classes.  A collection of files in a
directory is a package.)

Nope.  Look for ConfigDialog in guiwidgets and you'll see the answer.

You'll have no problem picking up Python.  You'll need look in the
dev-doc directory however to see how the BitPim code is structured
and what bits of code do what.
