Hey, thanks for the quick reply.

I guess I tear it all down and give it another go at install.   I was
fearing it would come to that.

HEY!!!! Good news, I got it running.

Oh what a wicked web we weave when the install process we try to deceive!

I'm not sure about the python version being the problem, but definitely it
was that I installed wxWidgets thinking this was wxPython.

Anyway, I deleted everything and began again.  This time very closely
choosing which files to install...  After going through all the install
files again, I was finaly able to get it up and running.  Well, I had a
sneaky suspicion that it would come to that.  But it's always easier to ask
prior to starting all the installs again.

Thanks a bunch for the help!  Now on to see about working with my Samsun
A950.  I was using Bitpim to view the directory structure and pull files off
the phone, but it only worked well for the first file.  After that it got
VERY slow with the second file I pulled.  Third file.. forget it!  It's like
it died.
