Yes, it does detect as E815M... Lower case, it doesn't. Not sure, I thought I sent this, but I dont see it, so... From a Bell E815 (firmware E815_BM_X_1.7.1P) ---------------------------------------------------------------- OK AT+GMI +GMI: Motorola CE, Copyright 2000 OK AT+GMM +GMM: Motorola CDMA e815 Phone OK AT+MODE=2 OK +MBAN: Copyright 2000-2004 Motorola, Inc. AT+CGMI +CGMI: "Motorola CE, Copyright 2000" OK AT+CGMM +CGMM: "CDMA800","CDMA1900","MODEL=E815m" OK AT+MCMA? ERROR AT+MODE=0 OK ------------------------ Its a lower case m... and my alltel V3C also is lower case m.... These phones don't need to be seem edited to add that "M"... Plus all the CDMA phones compatible with MPT's MultiMedia Sutdion are listed in MPT's DETECT.INF as lower case m... Any chance BitPim bitpim can look for either lower case or both upper and lower? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
