vx8600 v03 / 1.0.1 test report

Hello,

As an owner of a new vx8600 v03 and longtime BitPim fan I've been
following your efforts to make BitPim work on my phone.  From what I
can tell from this list, it seems that the latest 1.0.1 test release
should have the patch that makes uploading work, but it doesn't seem
to, instead giving the same error as with 1.0.0.  (Apologies for the
spam if I'm mistaken on either count!)

I'm on Windows running the packaged test release from 20070703.  I can
send logs or do further testing if necessary.  I'm also an experienced
Python developer, so can lend a hand more directly if it's worth
bringing me up to speed.
