Phone for Interested BitPim Developer

All,

I find myself in possession of a slightly defective Sprint Motorola V3m.
The defect comes from minor water exposure that caused the 1.9GHz RF module
to mysteriously(?) fail. From what I can tell, the remainder of the phone
works, including being able to retrieve and (hopefully) erase all my data
from the phone after repair attempts failed.

I am faced with two choices, both will benefit certain groups of people.
I have elected to give an interested BitPim developer a chance to write
support for it. So, I'm looking for an established developer to take on
the BitPim V3m support challenge. The phone will only come with the 64MB
micro-SD card. The phone can be powered from the USB port used for
programming and should not need the battery. Should the volunteer need the
battery and/or charger, that can be negotiated but will add to my shipping
cost.

Please contact me off-list by the end of October if you are willing to
take the challenge in return for this phone. If no one steps forward, I
will offer the phone to another organization with different goals.

Thanks for your attention.
-Paul
