Is it a USB cable ? If so you need a USB Driver for the phone.

I have the USB cable and also use Bluetooth. I simply have not found
software so far

that will talk to the phone. I am with Cingular/AT&T

I am not sure what provider you use - but you can usually D/L a driver for
the phone from your provider (or a software package for it from your
provider which comes with the driver - for example my sprint Katana Dlx - I
D/L 'd the sprint mobile software installed it and whalla the driver was
ALSO installed) cool beans...

Most of these phones are built on the same chipsets, for example LG and
Sanyo - use QualComm chips, and many CDMA phones use QualComm - and if you
look at those QualComm chip spec sheets YOU WILL SEE they have a BUILT in
GSM system (even though 1 phone might be CDMA, there is a GSM module built
right into the chip! Other phones might use other chips, but the underlying
command set to talk to the phones - usually follows a standard, and of
course there are propietary codes as well...

Hal, I think your phone is GSM. Bitpim, as far as I know, only supports
CDMA phones. Your phone is a replacement for the CG225.
