I doubt that it is standard, but for many phones, sending a packet
with 0x44 followed by the usual CRC and packet terminator will do
that.  You can do this from the filesystem view of BitPim by right
clicking in the directory listing and selecting "go to modem mode".
After some operations with some phones, such as updating phonebooks,
the phone needs to be rebooted in order to function properly.
