I have the same phone as you , I was able to get the images from the camera -using some code I modifed (borrowed from Stephen Wood) I basically added some info, and set some parameters for it. My 4900 was great - this Katana DLX phone is SO LOCKED down it blows golf balls... I am not a python guy, or an expert programmer - I know a few things here and there - perhaps we could work a bit together on it. I have a tool to look at some info - but need to get the MLS for my phone in order to take a closer look - I can see the NV area of the phone and it looks like the embedded file system is really a .mbn file. What I think we should do - is start off with a feature support list, with fields and byte lengths.. etc.. I think this phone must be using a db engine of some sort to manage its information - ie the phone book - I dont think it is a flatfile in reality - but I could be wrong.. Would you like the files I modified - you would need to run it from source or compile on your machine... You need th SYS03 Driver set which has both modem and diagnostic port.. ----- Original Message ----- From: "bksc's mom" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 06, 2008 1:23 AM Subject: Re: [BitPim-devel] Looking for Sanyo SCP-3200, Katana DLX, S1 or SCP-8400 owners > > > I hope I am not asking the wrong question but I have been trying to get > information on the Katana Dlx for weeks and do not seem to be finding any > answers.
