lg lx225 support

Hi, I'd be very interested in seeing support for my phone, declared as  
an LG LX225, documentation for same, but the detection log (on a mac,  
OS X 10.5.2) is showing up with

10:26:37.130 Detect Phone result: {'/dev/cu.usbmodem7d21':  
{'mode_modem': True, 'mode_brew': False, 'firmwareresponse': None,

Is this enough information to get support, assuming it is a LX or PM  
225? Or is that sort of assumption dangerous?
