Scripting

Any chance someone could fill me in on how to read the protocol logs? Basically, I've got a
Samsung that does everything in Brew mode, but would like to be able to put together shell scripts
for basic tasks since my phone isn't supported directly.
For example, I have an r500 (Hue) to which I can quite easily batch load ringtones and wallpapers
by copying the files. This is accomplished by copying the files, rebooting the phone, reading
MsInfo.db, replacing a character string (which I've already scripted), copying it back to the
phone, and rebooting again.
My phone always detects as /dev/ttyACM0, so I'm basically trying to push the data directly through
the COM port from the command line.
Any assistance?
Eric L.
