Alright, I've been poking around a lot. I've accomplished much hackery in
flat filesystem view. I'm just wondering now where there more advanced
support is, and what roadblocks others have encountered. Certain things like
ringtones, backgrounds, and such are trivial, stored as flat file, not even
requiring an index. I haven't looked in to the inner workings of the rest of
the phone as far as contact, sms storage, and so on goes.

My main thoughts are what, if any, work has any one or group done for it? If
there have been some hacking away at it, is there any unfinished/working
code I could have a look at and possibly hack some more on?
