Unlike Mark, this one is exactly the same as 20101010 for me: Attached report.

Immediate exception when I attempt to transfer the Contacts from the Phone to BitPim. Same exception reported as Mark, "IndexError: string index out of range", but I was not attempting to transfer anything other than the PhoneBook, and no entries were transferred (the PhoneBook table in BitPim remained empty).
