Hi,
I'm trying to download my contacts from my LG VX-5500 using BitPim, but
keep getting an exception. The phone is detected correctly by BitPim
though and I can browse the filesystem.
Whenever I try to download the contact book, it downloads all of the
contacts correctly and shows them on the "Import Phonebook Data" screen,
but after pressing "OK", I get the following exception:
-----------------------------------------------
BitPim version: 1.0.7-official
An unexpected exception has occurred.
Please see the help for details on what to do.

I'm using BitPim 1.07 on Windows XP connected via a Samsung USB A to
micro B data cable. BitPim detects the phone fine, which is a LG
VX-5500 with Verizon as the carrier.
The above problem is repeatable and it doesn't matter whether I try
adding the new contacts or replacing them all.
It seems to me that everything works fine except actually saving the
contact data, which would think doesn't have anything to do with the
specific phone.
Any ideas on what I can do to get this to work?
Thanks for the help. Let me know if you need any more information.
