Jerry,

Please search the BitPim FAQ for this one. The file might be in the bitpim
directory very well, but if it's not in the /windows/system directory, it
will not be recognized by the OS. I'm not 100% on the win7 system
directory, whether it is in the same place, but you can probably easily
find that out by search MS websites.

[BitPim-user] Missing MSVCP71.dll NOT!

I have installed both version 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 I uninstalled before
trying to go back to .6 version. Both times I got a message that
MSVCP71.DLL was missing, however, when I checked the BITPIM directory,
the file was there. I copied another version of the dll to the BITPIM
folder and still get the message. I am using Windows 7, however the
operating system should not be the problem because I had it on this
computer before. Any help would be appreciated. (when I had it running
on the previous installation of Windows 7 it worked very well using a
bluetooth connection.

Thanks
Jerry Schempp
