ASSISTANCE RE: Samsung SCH-U750 (Alias 2) error updating ringtones and calendar

Firstly, 
I am not a developer nor am I a programmer.  I'm just someone that LOVES
this program and am trying to help :-)

My environment that I use is:
OS:	Windows XP SP3
BitPim:	1.0.7
Phone:	Samsung Alias2 (AKA the U750)
Carrier:	Verizon Wireless

I have not done any testing with the calendar side of things on my phone.  I
have successfully been able to add ringtones to my phone.  The issue is that
the Samsung Alias 2 will not recognize them as ringtones, thusly they cannot
be placed there.  Or this may just be something that Verizon has us locked
out of with their software on their phones (As stated above, mine is with
Verizon Wireless).  In order to get the ringtone to work you will need to
add it to the sounds section of your phone.  After doing that you can look
at your "Sounds" on your phone and assign them to be ConactID's.   When that
is done, when that contact calls, that will be your ringtone.  I presently
have The opening guitar rift to "God Knows" by Christine Vee as my default
ringtone thanks to BitPim.  And when my work calls me my phone starts
vibrating and producing the sound of the pissed off node from Portal.  I
have not encountered a file size limit that my phone would not play.  I have
received warning messages that it may not work, but thus far all have worked
just fine for me.  I may post a youtube video or something later of
performing the steps I have done to make this work.

I will state that at present, I am running Windows XP or Windows 7 on my
machines.  So I do not have your exact environment.  But even running the
program in Vista or with XP compatibility mode you should be able to do what
you need to do just fine.  I will play with the calendar a little bit and
see if I can't reproduce your issue.  The other thing I would like to ask,
have you followed the instructions in the notes section on the phone for
getting your phone to connect to BitPim? (
http://www.bitpim.org/help/phone-samsungschu750-notes.htm )  I know that I
ran into issue with that.  You will also need the drivers for your phones
connection.  For Verizon wireless you get those from their website (
http://vzam.net/download/supported.aspx ).  Your phone will need to have
it's USB mode set to Modem Only.  It will not be discovered if it is just
selected at time of plug in like it may ask.

I have Bitpim v 1.07 loaded on Windows Vistaand I am trying to import my
ringtones and calendar into my Alias2 phone but I am having problems.? I am
using a USB cable that I bought with my phone.? I have a connection and I
have already successfully imported my notes.? I have set the phone to USB
Modem Mode like it says in the Bitpim notes section.? I also have made sure
that my ringtones were less than 100kb.? When I try to import the ringtones
I get the following error that pops up on the screen.
?BitPim version: 1.0.7-official
An unexpected exception has occurred.
