Re: BitPim Digest - Remove Request

LOL. Always interesting how people revert to threatening to sue when
they don't have the brains to solve a problem themselves! You expect us
to believe that you're going to get the FCC after a mailing list because you're not
competent enough to remove yourself from it? You're trying to sound
threatening and/or smart when you can't do a simple task, and THAT is
what makes others belittle you, not because they don't have an answer.

The problem is that you retaliated against another person's attack
instead of humbly asking for help, of course they will be disinclined to assist you. I apologize for snapping back. I don't intend to offend you, it
was just to prove the previously stated point. I'm sure a lawyer such as yourself wouldn't be offended by something so trivial in any case, correct? Now let's see if I can help you out here.

Click here https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bitpim-user then scroll down to the bottom of the page, enter in your email
address, then click "Unsubscribe or edit options." From the subsequent
page, click the "unsubscribe" button, and you will be sent a
confirmation email.

The method you were trying to use would probably work if you used only the word "help" in the subject
and/or body, nothing else. I haven't tried it on this mailing list
before, but typically keywords like that generate an automated response
from a system like this one. The reason yours didn't work is probably
because you added in more than just the word help. If the list sent out
automated messages to everyone that had "help" written anywhere in the
body... well, this is a mailing list mainly for troubleshooting, after
all. I hope you are able to successfully unsubscribe

May the Living God bless you,
~Michael Parkison

It also surprises me that Auden being a lawyer an all can't seem to get it thru his head that it is not against any CAN SPAM laws if the website provides a place to unsubscribe also also in every email sent out another place to unsubscribe.
