PhoneBook problem: "SCH-A950: Failed to read file: pb/recs_0000" . Windows XP SP3

Hello,

I recently downloaded and installed BitPim on my Dell Dimension 8200, running Windows XP SP3, so that I could back up my contact list on my Samsung SCH-A950. I am connecting the phone using the Verizon supplied USB-phone cord that comes with the V-Cast Music package. I am running BitPim 1.0.7 - official.

BitPim recognized the phone, and had no problem downloading pics, sms, and memos from the phone, but the phonebook/contact list comes up blank. I have searched the archives, and Google, and did not find any answer there. When I browse the filesystem using BitPim, I can see the phonebook entries there, but it is pretty unreadable in that format.

Can anyone help me download them into BitPim properly?
