I actually am on Mac OS X 10.6.5...  Yes, I searched for those file names (the
renamed one) and nothing comes up.

That's when I looked in ~/.bitpim-files and saw:

├── bitpim.db
├── cache
│   └── index.idx
├── ringer
│   └── rowid
└── wallpaper
    └── rowid

Which leads me to believe all that stuff is in a database, since the only thing
showing up in those directories are row ids...
