I have been using BitPim for almost a year now and have stored everything from
my phone(LG Dare) onto it. I recently lost my old phone and got a new one, and
was trying to transfer the contacts from my old phone over. Unfortunately, I was
having trouble getting BitPim to work with my new phone, which is an LG Revere.I
read that the new version that I was using(1.0.7) was a test version or
something, which might explain the errors I was having, and that the old
one(1.0.6) might be more stable. So, I downloaded 1.0.6, assuming that the 1.0.7
version would be kept, or that I would be given the option to transfer the old
files into the other version. However, when I was done, I could not find the
version 1.0.7 and none of my files were in 1.0.6. Shouldn't the old files still
be somewhere on my computer though? Is there some way I can go into the program
files and recover them? I would greatly appreciate any help, as everything was
stored on it(contacts, pictures, etc.).
